Clara’s Corner is a toddler soft play in West Wycombe. It’s fairly new, maybe 2023, 2024, and everything still looks well loved.
Soft play isn’t my favourite thing to do with the girls if I’m honest. I usually leave soft play for Matt (He’s a huge fan). But, Matt was working and it had been Ida’s first full week of school and I said she could choose an activity.
She LOVES soft play. So does Martha. So I bit the bullet and went booked to Clara’s Corner.
Matt has taken the girls here before (of course), but I’d not been. I’d seen pictures online and thought it looked nice.

Here’s my review of Clara’s Corner in West Wycombe.
Toddler Soft Play, Clara’s Corner Review
Clara’s Corner is in the Walled Garden in West Wycombe. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking (Saturday PM).
You go through an archway and it’s just past the cafe on your right, down a few steps.
Someone greets you on the way in and checks your name for the booking. You then put your shoes and bags under a bench and get busy playing.
First impressions were good. No brightly coloured PVC in sight. No smell of feet. No loud music.

It was very chilled.
There was music playing, but it was at a good volume. Disney music much to their girls delight. Plenty of Frozen tracks.

The frame was one story. So not quite Whizz Kids. But plenty for me. I’m not sure whether it’s weaving in and out, constantly ducking, or tunnel slides, but soft play always makes me feel a bit motion sick. As this was just 1 floor and I couldn’t fit down the weaving bits, I felt fine. Also no bright gleaming lights and glaring colours.

A slide and some stairs lead down to another level. On this level you’ll find a climbing wall, reading corner, tractor, sensory area, another slide and link up to the other floor. On this floor there is also a huge mat. Lots of the children were doing gymnastics on here. The girls were acting out their Frozen scenes.

It was a Saturday afternoon, and sunny outside. It wasn’t busy. Maybe 10 other children. I’m sure they cap numbers, but I imagine it could get uncomfortable if it was too busy here.
The girls played so well here. The didn’t need me to go around with them. I sat on one of the benches around the edge and watched them play their games. Then I pretended to be a troll for a bit. And a wolf.

There was a little section for small babies with foam blocks. Babies also had plenty of space to crawl and roll.
For me, Ida, and Martha, it was £23.00.

Clara’s Corner review
What age is Clara’s Corner for?
Clara’s Corner is for under 7’s. My girls are almost 3 and 5 and really enjoyed it. They could get up and down everything with enough of a challenge.
Do I pay for parking at Clara’s Corner?
No. It’s a pay and display car park but you get a complimentary visit if you go in the cafe and register your car details on the iPad.
Can I get a coffee at Clara’s Corner?
Yes. You can get a coffee from the cafe on the right as you walk in the Walled Garden. You can take a takeaway cup in the soft play, but you can’t take food in. Don’t leave your hot drink unattended obviously.
Can I get food at Clara’s Corner?
You can get food in the cafe. It looked like nice food too. We just got an ice cream after soft play.
Are there slides at Clara’s Corner?
There is a tunnel slide, and two other slides at Clara’s Corner.

Thoughts about Clara’s Corner
I’ll go again for sure. I felt like it was a good size so I could keep my eye on them both. With another baby due in December, I felt like it would be a good space to take the girls and a baby. It felt very secure, I didn’t have to get in and help them with hard bits, and it was a good volume!
